Διήμερο workshop επάνω στην κινηματογράφηση με DSLR. Τα σεμινάρια και η μελέτη εργασίας θα παρουσιάσουν και θα αναλύσουν τις τεχνικές προδιαγραφές, τις τρέχουσες εξελίξεις και το χειρισμό DSLR φωτογραφικών μηχανών με σκοπό την κινηματογράφηση και το χειρισμό της ηχοληψίας.

10.00 – 15.00: Video essentials and technique with Lefteris Pitarakis
This comprehensive seminar on videography examines the technical advantages, considerations, limitations and problem solving when recording video with DSLR cameras. This will cover mainly Canon DSLRs but those using other systems will equally benefit.
Lefteris also will cover:
- Screen size and aspect ratio

- Progressive and Interlaced video

- Pros and cons of DSLR camera in videography
- Shooting techniques
15:15 – 17:00 Gadget clinic with Edmond Terakopian
Edmond will show what he considers to be the ‘must have’ gadgets and accessories for shooting video on a DSLR camera. He’ll be sharing the contents of his video ‘go’ bag, which has taken years to fine tune, speaking about his essential accessories and other gadgets that make life easier when working in video. Covering everything from his choice of tripod, shooting and viewing accessories, he’ll also cover his favourite lenses for video as well as show slides of him at work in the field.

10.00- 17.00: Understanding sound and sound recording with
Phil Hartley
Phil will teach the fundamentals of sound: what sound is, how it travels and how it behaves. He’ll tell us how our ears work and suggest ways of improving listening skills. The main principles of sound recording will be explained: how different types of microphones, sound recorders and other equipment works and why you need to know. He’ll also de-mystify recording settings and file formats, share his knowledge of double and single system sound for video, synchronisation techniques and a whole lot more.
