Tο BOOZE σας προσκαλεί στα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης φωτογραφίας του Άκη Δέτση με τίτλο «ΠΡΟΒΟΛΗ» το Σάββατο 9 Δεκεμβρίου 2017 στις 19:00. Στην έκθεση παρουσιάζεται υλικό από το ομότιτλο φωτογραφικό λεύκωμα που εκδόθηκε πρόσφατα.

«Απουσία: η θήκη της παρουσίας»

Σε ένα τέτοιο πρότζεκτ αναγνώρισης του κόσμου, το σώμα (ή καλύτερα η απουσία του σώματος) και τα αντικείμενα αποκτούν πρωταρχικό ρόλο. Το δέρμα είναι το πρώτο µας όριο και σημείο επαφής µε τον κόσµο, τα αντικείμενα όμως που µας περιβάλλουν καθημερινά και είναι σε θέση να γνωρίζουν τόσα πολλά για µας, είναι αυτά που µπορούν ανά-πάσα-στιγµή να εκτοξευθούν κατά πάνω µας µε τον πιο βίαιο τρόπο µόνο και µόνο για να µιµηθούν την παύση εκείνη που σκεπάζει την ανάµεσα µας απουσία.

Τούτο υπονοεί πως και η αναγκαιότητα και η ενδεχοµενικότητα, αυτοί οι δύο σταυροί της δυτικής σκέψης, εξαφανίζονται απ΄ αυτόν τον µετά-κρίσεως κόσµο του Δέτση. Ο κόσµος του είναι τώρα και για πάντα αναγκαία ενδεχοµενικός και ενδεχοµενικά αναγκαίος. Μεταξύ του «µην-όντας-ικανός-του-µην-είναι» που ορίζει το αίτηµα της αναγκαιότητας και του «όντας-ικανός-του-είναι» που ορίζει την ταλαντευόµενη ενδεχοµενικότητα όλα τα στοιχεία της φύσης αλλά κι όλα τα δημιουργήματα του ανθρώπου που παρουσιάζονται εδώ φαίνονται να χαίρονται µια αδιάβλητη πτώση ενώ πάνω τους επιπλέει κάτι σαν ένα κοσµικό φωτοστέφανο. Η µυστική εμπειρία αυτής της επώδυνης αφαιρετικής διαδικασίας αφήνει, τελικά, την αίσθηση του πρώτου φωτός µετά το βάσανο της αγρύπνιας.

Between the “not-being-able-of-not-being” dictated by the demand of necessity and the “being-able-of-being” that dictates the oscillating potentiality, all natural elements as well as all human creations presented here seem to be enjoying an unimpeachable fall, while something like a cosmic halo is hovering above them. The secret experience of this painful abstract process gives the impression of the first light after the torment of sleeplessness.
